Description
Maketū is located in Te Ika ā Māui, the North Island of Aotearoa, NZ. As the landing place of the Arawa waka (canoe), Maketū is a significant area for the descendants of it’s crew, who make up the Te Arawa and Ngāti Tuwharetoa tribes.
Aotearoa in Black and White is a collection of images captured on 35mm Black and White film during my student years of 2000-2002.
